Additional flights to Lamezia Terme with Helvetic Airways

During the summertime (July – August 2008), Helvetic Airways will offer additional flights to Lamezia Terme. From 14 July 2008 to 24 August 2008, there will be four flights per week (Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday) to Lamezia Terme in Calabria. That is ideal for a short trip, a long weekend or a spontaneous visit with family and friends.

The additional flight departs from Zurich every Tuesday at 6 p.m. and lands in Lamezia Terme at 8 p.m. This means that you arrive in time to enjoy delicious Italian cuisine for dinner. Departure from Lamezia Terme is at 8.40 p.m. and arrival in Zurich is at 10.50 p.m. so that you can spend the whole of your last day in Calabria.

8 destinations in 4 countries
Helvetic Airways operates four 100-seat Fokker 100 jets on its route network. Today, the Swiss airline employs approximately 120 members of staff and flies non-stop to 8 destinations in 4 countries from its Zurich base. The airline has a strong focus on Italy. The airline also collaborates with various tour operators to offer flights to a number of additional destinations in charter traffic. Helvetic Airways focuses on direct, non-stop flights to attractive destinations, to which no other non-stop flights exist from Zurich.

Swiss regional airline Helvetic Airways provides a range of short- and medium-haul air services from various Swiss airports. The carrier deploys its Embraer E190-E2, E195-E2 and E190-E1 aircraft on scheduled, charter and wet-lease flights. The Helvetic Airways workforce numbers over 510 employees. The company also has its own maintenance hangar and operation at Zurich Airport, which is further home to its corporate head office. The airline offers innovative part-time employment models to its cockpit and cabin personnel. For its cabin attendants these include ‘Ski&Fly’, ‘Fly&Study’ and the fully flexible ‘Fly your way’ model. Details of current vacancies at Helvetic will be found at career.helvetic.com.
