  • Safety is a main priority at Helvetic Airways.

Since November 2011, Helvetic Airways has been operating its own BAZL and EASA-certified servicing operation for its own fleet at Zurich airport. When it comes to regular maintenance work, the airline can rely on the extensive possibilities of its own servicing and maintenance department.
Complete maintenance of the Helvetic Airways fleet is carried out in its own hangar at Zurich airport. The maintenance is BAZL and EASA-145-certified. In Bern, work is processed as part of line maintenance and trouble rectification. Carrying out our own maintenance allows for full internal control and a higher degree of flexibility. Developing the new maintenance operation has also brought with it an increase in employee numbers since 2011. Helvetic Airways currently employs around 70 maintenance staff.

In the medium term, Helvetic Airways would like to train its own aircraft mechanics and engineers.
