Book destinations in Southern Italy for summer 2008 now
Non-stop to Sicily – five times a week
Helvetic Airways will be operating non-stop flights to Sicilian destinations Catania on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and Palermo on Mondays and Fridays. These two Sicilian cities can be ideally combined, meaning that Sicily can be reached non-stop from Zurich virtually every day.
Weekend breaks to Calabria
Helvetic Airways will also be operating two non-stop flights to Lamezia Terme from Zurich on Fridays and Sundays - ideal for a weekend in the Southern Italian sunshine! We are even planning to operate a third weekly flight during the summer holiday period in order to be able to offer our passengers even more attractive connections to Calabria.
Apulia – golf, culture and wellness
Apulia is becoming increasingly popular amongst Swiss tourists. Cultural highlights like the trulli in Alberobello or San Giovanni Rotondo, the famous pilgrimage place, in addition to attractive golf courses and an extensive selection of wellness facilities all make Apulia a real insider tip for Italy enthusiasts. Helvetic Airways operates non-stop flights to Brindisi on Mondays and Thursdays, with a third weekly flight planned for summer 2008.
14 destinations in 7 countries
Helvetic Airways started offering flights in November 2003 and operates four 100-seat Fokker 100 jets on its route network. Today, the Swiss airline employs approximately 140 members of staff and flies non-stop to 14 destinations in 7 countries from its Zurich base. The airline has a strong focus on Italy and Spain. The airline also collaborates with various tour operators to offer flights to a number of additional destinations in charter traffic. Helvetic Airways flies to several travel destinations in every region. This enables passengers to combine the individual destinations with each other, which is ideal for spending a long weekend or short holiday with family and friends.
Swiss regional airline Helvetic Airways provides a range of short- and medium-haul air services from various Swiss airports.
